Proofing

WHAT IS A CROMALIN?

A cromalin is a colour proofing system used to control, validate (proof or BAT) documents intended for printing. A quality proofing system requires regular calibration (once a week) and produces proofs in a colour palette accepted by printers so that they are able to reproduce the requested colours. It will make it possible to assess, before printing, the result of printing a document (usually in four-colour process).

PROFILES & QUALITIES

Thanks to a standardized calibration by European printers complying with the ISO standard, the proof is very close to analogue Cromalins. A Ugra/Forgra-Medienkiel ISO 12647-2 control bar is incorporated to guarantee chromic quality, as well as gravure profiles. It allows direct tone proofs with more than 13,000 Pantones. Cromalins are delivered to you by courier in two to three working days (delivery to Paris; for the province additional time.)
